From Naples Airport
By bus: Exit the airport terminal and head to the bus stop located outside the arrivals area. Take the Alibus (Line 3S) towards Napoli Piazza Garibaldi/Stazione Centrale. The Alibus 3S Line operates every 20-30 minutes and provides a direct connection to the central train station, Napoli Centrale.Upon arriving at Napoli Centrale, proceed to the Circumvesuviana section of the train station. Take the Circumvesuviana train heading towards Caserta. Alight from the Circumvesuviana train at the "Casalnuovo" station. From there, the Università della Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" is a short walk away (see below “from Caserta Train Station” paragraph).
By train: Exit the airport terminal and head to the Napoli Capodichino train station, which is located within walking distance from the airport. Take the Circumvesuviana train heading towards Napoli Centrale. Upon arriving at Napoli Centrale, proceed to the Circumvesuviana to Caserta and ride until you reach the "Casalnuovo" station. From there, the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" is a short walk away (see below “from Caserta Train Station” paragraph).
From Caserta Train Station
Walking(10 minutes): Exit Caserta train station and head northwest on Via Luigi Vanvitelli toward Piazza Luigi Vanvitelli. Continue straight onto Via Manfredi - Corso Trieste. After 650 ft (200 meters), turn left onto Viale Leonardo da Vinci. Continue straight on Viale Leonardo da Vinci for about 2000 ft (600 meters). Turn right onto Via Ferrante Aporti. Walk 985 ft (300 meters) until you reach the entrance of the Università della Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli."
By taxi there is a taxi parking lot in front of the train station, but the University is so close that they may refuse to take you there or ask for a supplement due to the short distance.
By car
From the North of Italy: Take the A1 highway until you reach the Caserta Nord exit. Take the exit toward Caserta Nord and merge onto Via Giuseppina Liguori/SS7bis. Continue SS7bis for 2 kilometers. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Via Tescione. Continue straight on Via Tescione for about 1 kilometer. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Via delle Ginestre. Continue Via delle Ginestre for 3.1 miles (5 kilometers). Turn left onto Via Santa Maria Capua Vetere. After about 1640 ft (500 meters), you will arrive at the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" on your right.
From the Southof Italy Head north on the A1 highway toward Caserta until you reach the Caserta Sud exit. Take the exit toward Caserta Sud and Merge onto SS7 Quater. Continue SS7 Quater for approximately 1.2 miles (2 kilometers). At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Via Antonio Gramsci. Continue straight on Via Antonio Gramsci for about 1 mile (1.5 kilometers). At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Via delle Ginestre. Continue Via delle Ginestre for 0.6 miles (1 kilometer). Turn right onto Via Santa Maria Capua Vetere. After about 500 meters, you will arrive at the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" on your left.
From Naples: Start by heading northwest on the A1 highway toward Napoli-Centro/Porto. Continue the A1 highway for approximately 12.5 miles (20 kilometers). Take the exit toward Caserta Nord. Merge onto Tangenziale di Caserta (A1dir). After approximately 1.2 miles (2 kilometers), take the exit toward Caserta Centro. Merge onto Via Nazionale Appia. Continue on Via Nazionale Appia for about 1.9 miles (3 kilometers). At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Via Appia. Continue Via Appia for approximately 0.6 miles (1 kilometer). Turn right onto Via Raffaele Conforti. After about 900 ft (300 meters), turn left onto Via Vivaldi. Continue straight on Via Vivaldi for about 500 meters. Turn right onto Via Aulisio. After 660 ft (200 meters), you will arrive at the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli" on your left.
From Rome Fiumicino Airport
By train: From Fiumicino Airport, head to the airport train station, which is located within the airport terminal. Take the Leonardo Express train, which provides a direct service from Fiumicino Airport to Roma Termini, the main railway station in Rome. Board the Leonardo Express train bound for Roma Termini. The journey is approximately 30 minutes to Roma Termini. Upon arrival at Roma Termini, exit the train station and proceed to the main concourse. From Roma Termini train station refer to Trenitalia web site, look for FrecciaArgento trains as they take about 1 hour, no stop, to get to Caserta. See paragraph above “from Caserta train station”.
By bus: From Fiumicino Airport, take the Leonardo Express train to Roma Termini, the main railway station in Rome.
